This blog is a collection of personal reflections, stories, observations, and ideas drawn from different seasons of my life. From humanitarian work and academia to professional experiences, military service, faith, writing, and everyday life, each chapter has left me with something to think about and something worth passing on.
Some stories are personal. Some explore questions about leadership, society, work, faith, relationships, and personal growth. Others simply capture an experience that changed the way I see something.
I write to make sense of what I have experienced, to explore ideas that interest me, and to create conversations that might resonate with someone else.

Academic
My academic background spans Human Rights Law and Humanitarian Action and Organizational and Strategic Leadership, giving me opportunities to study people, organizations, strategy, society, and the systems that shape our world.
Humanitarian
My work with UNHCR in East and Central Africa introduced me to the realities of displacement and humanitarian action and gave me a deeper appreciation for resilience, dignity, and the complexity of serving vulnerable communities.
Professional
My career has crossed writing, strategic communications, cybersecurity, information security, risk management, and organizational leadership, allowing me to work at the intersection of people, communication, technology, and strategy.
Military
Serving in the United States Army National Guard has added another dimension to my understanding of discipline, teamwork, accountability, duty, and commitment to something larger than oneself.
What Keeps Me Curious
There are still many things I want to understand.
How do people become better leaders?
Why do some organizations thrive while others struggle?
How does faith shape the way we live and make decisions?
What can difficult experiences teach us?
How do our stories influence the people around us?
What does meaningful service really look like?
And perhaps most importantly, how do we continue becoming better versions of ourselves while navigating everything life places in front of us?
I don’t pretend to have all the answers.
But I enjoy asking the questions.
