About eight years ago, while I was actively involved (serving) in my church, I experienced a heart-wrenching rejection from friends I deeply loved and respected. Among those critics was someone I had affection for, someone I envisioned spending my life with, someone I wanted to marry. The pain was sharp, and the disappointment cut deep. At that moment, I felt as though the ground beneath me had crumbled. Little did I know, this rejection would change my perspective on life, love, and self-worth forever.

They can choose retaliation, letting bitterness consume them, or they can respond with love and resilience. I chose love. Every rejection taught me empathy, enabling me to lead with a compassionate heart.
